The man who died after a gunshot at a Fresno apartment complex on Friday has been identified by the Fresno Police Department. According to Fresno Police, Tyler Harmon, age 33, was the deceased male. Police say they went to a reported shooting victim at an apartment complex near Nees and Maroa avenues just after midnight on Friday, November 1, 2024. The dispatcher informed them that Harmon had been shot.
Officers reported finding cartridge casings in the upper landing and bullet holes in the front door. Harmon was found unconscious and with a gunshot wound to his upper back in a bedroom, according to the police. Harmon was declared dead at the hospital after officers and emergency medical personnel tried to save his life. According to the police, they think the victim and suspect were acquainted. They add that they think this is a singular incidence.
